A lover girl behind it all...

Some know me as the Beauty Designer. Some know me as the Creative Director of a Lifestyle Magazine and many more know me as the writer behind the African Mafia Series; The Buffness Diaries. But, how much do you know about, A'oleon?

Embracing every part of me.

My boyfriend convinced me that my website needed an upgrade and that I don't share enough of myself... Here are 32 Facts about me. Love you, Joshua, ๐Ÿ”จ

โ–  I am 32 โ™ก

โ–  I am African ( Kenyan, Nigerian, Sierra Leonean) and Middle Eastern ( Egyptian, Iranian, Turkish ) with a touch of Portuguese and Cherokee from my two grandmothers.

โ–  Persian Buttercups are my favorite flowers. But an Ombre bouquet of flowers is chef's kiss!

โ–  My first career choice was to become a Prosecutor and attend Georgetown University.

โ–  I randomly wrote in a diary at 10 years old that one day I'd become an author, without realizing I would be 23 years old.

โ–  I am the baby of five... and the favorite ๐Ÿ˜

โ–  My father raised me, and it taught me many valuable lessons. But I came to realize how hard it is for a man to raise a daughter.

โ–  I got my first dog, a Rottweiler named King, when I was 11 years old... he then passed away when he was 11 years old.

โ–  I'm allergic to Dogs ( Didn't know when I had King ) and Cats. However, I was adopted by a Stray cat in the summer of 2025, and he became my best friend. I called him "Gurl" ๐Ÿคฃ, and once I realized he was a boy, I asked him if he wanted a different name- he didn't care.

โ–  I'm the proud Auntie of two forever babies that I raised in so many ways. My nephew was my baby growing up- now he's 19 years old and taller than me. My niece is the sweetest little girl ( Almost my height ), and I love seeing her bloom into the beautiful butterfly that she is.

โ–  I love Vanilla Lattes, Long sunny walks until it's dark, and spending time in Nature.

โ–  At 27, I was involved in a red-light running car accident that left me with a traumatic brain injury. I spent almost three years in Rehabilitation. I had to learn how to walk, talk, and write again. I still have bouts of short-term memory loss and moments of mental fatigue. Overall, I remind myself on bad days that it could've been worse.

โ–  I'm a hopeless romantic who pathetically writes love letters to her future husband with hopes one day they'll be worth it.

โ–  I started my first company at 21 years old- a Bath and Body Company. Then launched a clothing line, cosmetics line, and a home collection.

โ–  I was a whistleblower in college- because of that, I never got my degree.

โ–  I love Savory foods!

โ–  I had Jaw-Surgery at 17 years old to correct an underbite. I have two plates and 6 screws in my jaw.

โ–  I've covered 5 Magazine Covers, which is a dream come true for me!

โ–  My biggest dream is to build the family I never had. It's something my inner child always cries for.

โ–  At 16 years old, I wrote my future life from 18 to 35. I can say that at 32, about 80% of those goals have come true.

โ–  I want a beach house in Madagascar one day.

โ–  I've always wanted to live in Dubai for a year

โ–  One day I want to build my dream house. Cook dinner with a two-year-old attached to my right leg, while holding a 6-month-old baby as we wait for my husband to get home from work ๐Ÿฅน

โ–  As a Romance writer, I always wondered how I'd meet my person. I've come up with every scenario, and somehow I missed one.

โ–  I was on the Debate team in high school

โ–  I am a huge advocate for domestic violence, rape, and sexual assault victims, fighting hunger, mental health, and endangered animals. Some of these topics- many are afraid to face them because of the shame that surrounds them. But I believe that in order to see change, it has to start with you.

โ–  I lost my sister to Domestic violence when I was 19 years old, and she was 37. That changed the way I looked at love. It opened my eyes to another kind of pain and heartache.

โ–  I love simple things that people give me. From a handmade card, a rock that King gave me for my birthday, fixing my necklace while I'm talking, or a "What are you going to eat for dinner, beautiful" text from Joshua. It shows they took the time out of their day to think of me, and I'm forever grateful.

โ–  I love writing; I love creating stories- but it's not the same love I once had.

โ–  I love my solitude, but I know that I'm meant to be a lover.

โ–  I'm an Elephant Mommy to 13 stuffed elephants. For those who've asked, Jolly is my firstborn :) And he's 10 years old.

โ–  I only shop the sales rack for clothes. I'd rather have 10 pairs of pants for $50 than spend $50 on one pair. I will never spend more than $30 on a pair of boots or shoes, and that's why I have so many. ๐Ÿ˜‰
